Poets & travelers
Ravenna is certainly a city that doesn’t leave its visitors indifferent. Over the centuries, its charm has made it a crossroads for artists, poets, writers and intellectual travelers. First and foremost Dante Alighieri, but also Lord Byron, Oscar Wilde, Gustav Klimt, Vasilij Kandinsky, Oscar Wilde, Thomas Stearns Eliot, Gabriele D'Annunzio, Ezra Pound and Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo, who in 1999, causing quite a stir, rewrote the history of the city.
