Explorers wanted in Ravenna!

Are you curious, passionate about sustainability, and ready to help shape the future of tourism? Then you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

Come with your family, friends, or on your own and spend 5 days discovering Ravenna through games, walks, and bike rides!

Selected participants will get the chance to experience Ravenna like never before – and become part of the change.
Hospitality and activities will be fully covered by the project.

What we ask from you: enthusiasm, curiosity, and the desire to get involved.

Applications for the Explorers Call 2026 officially closed on 17 November.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who took part and dedicated their time to submitting an application.

What happens next…

We received more than 450 applications: a level of interest that truly delighted us.
We are now reviewing all submissions, taking into account not only the order in which they were received, but also the need to create a representative and diverse group, as outlined in the Regulations.

At this stage, you do not need to do anything except be a little patient:

you will receive an email with the outcome of the selection process by 31 December.

We recommend keeping an eye on your inbox (including your spam folder), as all official communications will be sent there.

If you are selected

You will receive a Letter of Commitment to sign and return within 7 days.
Once your participation is confirmed, we will send you all the practical information you need to prepare for your experience in Ravenna.

If you are not selected

You may still be placed on a waiting list, which we will use for any substitutions in the following months.

And there is more: in 2026 a new call will open for those wishing to take part as explorers in 2027.
