Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic in Ravenna

The Contemporary Mosaic Biennale, now in its eighth edition, has always been the event that brings you to a journey into the art that most characterizes Ravenna: the mosaic.

This widespread exhibition will allow you to discover the many variations that mosaic art can have and will allow you to retrace the history of mosaic accompanying you among its testimonies of the Byzantine and contemporary era.

Through its streets and in many exhibition spaces, the city will host different initiatives such as exhibitions, events, guided tours, conferences, performances and mosaic workshops.

The highlight will be the exhibition hosted by the MAR-Museo d'Arte della Città Ravenna, dedicated to one of the most important artists of the twentieth century: Alberto Burri, leader of Italian informal expressive research.
