Mosaic is the soul of Ravenna: it tells the city’s millennial history and is still today a living and surprising form of art.

From October 18, 2025 to January 18, 2026, Ravenna hosts the 9th Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic, a widespread event that turns museums, cloisters, galleries, and urban spaces into meeting points between tradition and creativity.

This year’s main event will be the exhibition “Chagall in Mosaic. From Project to Artwork”, showcasing unique masterpieces and revealing the artist’s special connection with this technique.
