Cervia: the town of salt, sea and wellness, just a stone’s throw from Ravenna
Just 20 km from Ravenna, Cervia is a gem on the Adriatic coast, easily accessible by train, perfect for a relaxing day out or to round off your trip to Emilia-Romagna. Known as the “City of Salt”, Cervia combines history, nature and wellness in a unique blend, where every corner tells of age-old traditions and offers unforgettable experiences.
The Cervia Salt Pans, part of the Po Delta Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, represent an extraordinary ecosystem, famous for its “white gold”, the fine salt of Cervia. You can explore them on foot, by bike or by boat, immersing yourself in a picturesque landscape populated by flamingos and other rare species.
As well as the beauty of the salt pans, Cervia is synonymous with wellbeing thanks to its renowned Cervia Thermal Baths. Here you can relax with treatments that harness the natural benefits of thermal mud and saline waters, perfect for rejuvenating body and mind. An unmissable stop for anyone seeking an experience dedicated to health and relaxation.
The historic centre, with its canals and the Torre San Michele, tells the story of Cervia’s connection to the sea, whilst the golden beaches and pine forest of Milano Marittima offer the perfect setting for moments of tranquillity or outdoor activities.

The unique experience of being able to enter a large bunker from the Second World War, completely set up with original period objects. This is the Regelbau Bunker, used as a refuge and the largest we will see on our tour.
Following the path to discover the underground Cervia starts with the vision of particular conformations in concrete called "dragon's teeth", defensive obstacles with a particularly effective shape to stop the advance of tanks. We then continue with the Tobruk bunker, which holds particular secrets to end the visit with other dragon's teeth.
